Church Security

Security is a very important part of assisting our leaders in Ministry. Having a badge is nice but it is only used to display our role or position in an in-house Church Security Ministry. Our walk must be above reproach, our demeanor must be professional, our dedication to ministry must be obvious. Your Church is your place of worship, and to some a second home. Secure your Church as if it were your home and members, visitors, and staff as if they were your guest.
YOU MUST HAVE A SERVANT'S HEART AND THE SPIRIT OF YOUR LEADER TO WORK IN A CHURCH SECURITY MINISTRY.

As members of a church security ministry you must be able to fellowship with one another. God has blessed me to work with a fine group of saints.
Men that serve in a church security auxillary must have a team spirit at all times, always striving for excellence.
Armor Bearer
What is an Armor Bearer?

In the Old Testament an armor bearer was an officer selected by Kings and Generals because of his bravery. His purpose was to bear the armor and stand by his leader in the time of danger. An armor bearer was in charge of sharpening and carrying his leader's weapons. He was an extension of help because he provided more arms.
To be a good armor bearer you first must have the following;
1. Heart for your leader.
2. Commitment to your leader.
3. Sacrifice for your leader.
4. Know the word of God.
You must be able to be a spiritual waiter for your leader and be able to minister to your leader.
Submission means "coming under another person's mission. A person with a prideful or jealous sprit will find it difficult to submit to another MAN. What this means even when you have a vision, you must submit to the greater vision.
Hopefully you have learned something from these few words. I encourage you think about this ministry and see if you have what it takes to serve in another man's ministry.
These few words were written to give you a brief overview of the role of an Armor Bearer. If and when you are called by your leader to serve in this role, find out from your leader what is expected of you.
“MUST BE BALANCED”

“Moreover it is required in .......that a man be found faithful” 1 cor.4:2
One must also be careful of a term my Bishop shared with the ministers "borrowed popularity" what this means this is your leader's ministry. Your existence is merely because of your leader; DO NOT GET CAUGHT UP IN THE SUCCESS OF YOUR LEADER! You must protect your leaders' interest; he/she is your assignment.
More often than not your role as an armor bearer must be seen and not heard. Being an Armor Bearer or Pastor's Assistant, goes hand in hand with security at your local church. You must know the role of each in the church and know how to stay in your lane.
Improper lane changing will hinder your blessings as you serve your leader in ministry. If you are an armor bearer or security team member stay focus on the task. ARMOR BEARERS ARE CHOSEN BY THE PASTOR!
Trust is an important component of your role in ministry, you must trust your leader and he/she must trust you. After you develop trust you must develop faith. From faith comes allegiance and dedication. This ministry stresses the importance of them both.
